June is here and finally some warm weather.

For the past while, I have been contemplating where I am in my life and what brings joy, personally and professionally. I took a break from my jewelry business for the first time in almost 15 years and it felt good to step back.

This is a milestone birthday year and turning 75 in July is a biggie. I'm mentally still 37, but my body is telling me differently. Creating jewelry will still be part of my life as an outlet for my passion. It's not only about creating - it's connecting with my customers and community.

Instead of my jewelry being available at numerous boutiques across the country, with all of the attendant demands, it will now be available exclusively online. This allows me more time to create, when the moment strikes me, rather than when it has to be done.

I really enjoyed connecting with the wonderful and interesting women entrepreneurs who supported me and carried my jewelry. I will miss those relationships but a couple of the shops are close by and I will still be able to drop in and shop, of course.

My inspiration is to enjoy summer and taking time to be joyful, getting fit so I can have more cake and Prosecco; having fun, being with family and friends; and creating jewelry when inspired. For the first time in a while, I will be focusing on creating one of a kind pieces.

The weather in the summer is glorious and I have planned a lot of mini visits and time with friends while letting the world know about my new designs.

Some of the beautiful semi-precious stone pendants to inspire me. In some cases, it may simply be a chain; others will be the starting point for something more. Over the years, I have acquired a large number of beautiful Sterling Silver -plated and semi-precious stone pendants. Now, I will have time to create something to celebrate their beauty.
